@pedrobaeza I think you can remove web_export_view. In Odoo 12.0 the Action > Export by default adds the fields on the tree view.

Edit: although you can show images in the trees, v12 cannot show images through character fields (with the url of the image).

Well, only one of its features, but I consider it a bit of a dull way of showing images... I could live without showing images with an url in a tree view.

@tarteo although indeed that's a good new feature, there's at least one reason to keep the module: if you export datetimes with export system, they are exported on UTC, confusing the user when opening the file if they are in other timezone (we have several issues already with that). This module exports what is seen on screen, so we avoid that problem (although we have the other problem for exporting all data).

Maybe we can change the approach to have a new module base_export_user_tz instead.

I don't agree, In combination with the module web_disable_export_group this module is very usefull. If a user it not allowed to use the bigger export function, a company can allow the user to export the main information using this module.
