The methods used here are very inexact and are based around random forums posts online. For many consoles, custom firmware (CFW) may be required. That is outside the scope of this project, but links to more resources will be provided.
The tool itself modifies arbitrary bytes of the save files, so there is a possibility that things go wrong. Always make backups of your saves.
The scope of this project is just to help automate save file conversions between platforms.
To actually modify attributes of the save to manipulate the data, see existing tools such as FFXED, Final Fantasy X Editor, or Celsius.
A helper tool to convert FFX saves between PS3/PS4/PSVita/Steam/Nintendo Switch/Xbox One.
The tool assumes you already have your existing FFX save file (decrypted, if needed) on your computer. For instructions, see the Guides.
Simply run the tool, select the Save File Type for the input save as well as the Target Console. Then simply press Convert save file and select your existing (decrypted) save.
Lastly, follow the on-screen instructions for the post-work to get the new save loaded onto your target device. For instructions, see the Guides.
