@MStraeten @zisoft @LebedevRI Wasn't this a bit premature, and will only in fact happen for 5.0 (i.e. once a year, for the winter release)? AFAIK macOS 15 has not been released yet (only announced), so 12 is still active (and GH runners also available)...

you're right, but compiler-versions.cmake checks for deployment target 13.5

@zisoft We're free to choose our own maintenance and support policy of course, but then the false statement "will ... support those macOS versions that are also supported by Apple" no longer applies and should be removed/rephrased.
