For the p:file-info step we do not specify an xml:base attribute on the result. However, we do specify this on the detailed result of p:directory-list.

IMHO it is very logical (and useful!) to have a required xml:base attribute on the result of p:file-info also.

Morgana already adds this.

We could for p:file-info also simply refer to the detailed format of p:directory-list instead of describing it anew.

This would also mean that for a non-file/directory file system object, the resulting root element would become <c:other>. The current description of p:file-info now leaves this open (as implementation-defined) and only advices this.
