Confirming expected behavior for route().current()

I ran into an issue today when trying to use route().current() and it kept returning as undefined.

I realized the issue is because we're using the filtered routes feature and only exposing certain routes to the frontend. Once I added the route in question to the list, the function worked as expected.

I just want to confirm this is the expected behavior. Or is there a way to continue using current() for routes that are not exposed to the frontend?

Yeah that's the expected behavior, Ziggy is only aware of the routes passed to it so if you filter them then as far as Ziggy knows the other ones don't exist.
