Friends Menu
With the registration of your cabinet for the VPin Mania services, you can link your cabinet with the ones of your friends. In order to do so, you can press the "Friends" button that is located on the VPin Studio Client window toolbar.
If you cabinet has not been registered yet, you will get a prompt asking to you register it. Note that only your cabinet with it's unique system id is registered. That's why no additional data is required and the registration requires only this single click. No personal data is transmitted in this process.
When your cabinet is registered, you will see the "Friends" view next. You can invite new friends here, check you incoming invites and also configure you privacy settings.
You can invite friends and link their cabinet with your by sending them your unique system id.
- Go to the preferences and copy the system id there.
- Send this id to your friend so that they can invite you using the invite dialog or get this id from your friends to invite them.
- Once the invite has been accepted, your cabinets are linked and you can use the additional services provided by this.
You can also send an invite by using the friends cabinet name. But this name must be unique and be an exact match, that's why this "system id" way is more reliable.
