My Name is Chris Harris. I am from the Midwest. As mentioned, I am a software developer and DBA. I have 3 associates level degrees, in various computer-related fields, and several certifications of completion in advanced analytics, database performance, and mobile development platforms.

I have worked on some pretty cool projects, some so cool I can't even talk about them! :)

I am currently working on a Specialized telnet client designed for the purpose of playing 1 game: MajorMUD. This game has been alive on various servers all over the country, and I believe is making a comeback. There is really only one other client for this game. It is called MegaMUD. It was a great bit of software in its day, but it is old, hasn't been updated in over a decade, and is suffering from some bit-rot type issues. The original author has no interest in releasing his source code, so I have had to start from scratch. I have already created a stable telnet client with about 30% of the features expected to be released in the first beta.

Sponsorship will be very important to the continued development of this software. It costs money to write software. There are costs for running a web server, registering domain names, creating or finding images that I can legally use etc. Visual studio costs money. I am using a software development framework that significantly reduces the amount of code I have to write, but it costs money too. So far, the funding has been 100% out of my own pocket. This is a model that I won't be able continue indefinitely.
