Issue JP-3613 was created on JIRA by Melanie Clarke:

At the end of the flat field step for all NIRSpec modes, data flagged as DO_NOT_USE is set to NaN, but the error and variance arrays are not updated to match. To avoid introducing error propagation problems, these arrays should also be set to NaN, matching the data.
