#### ⟩⟩⟩ Pacote **[ChainPlots.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/ChainPlots.jl)**

#### ⟩⟩⟩ Pacote **[UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl)**

[UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl) é o meu primeiro pacote [Julia](https://www.julialang.org) registrado! Veja mais informações no blog, artigo [Buckingham-Pi Theorem and the UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl package](/blog/2021/05/unitfulbuckinghampi/).

#### ⟩⟩⟩ **Novo artigo no blog**

Neste novo artigo [Computing time average bounds for the Van der Pol oscillator in Julia](/blog/2021/02/time_ave_bounds_vanderpol_in_Julia/), continuo a discussão iniciada no artigo anterior, ilustrando a teoria com o oscilador de Van der Pol.

#### ⟩⟩⟩ Article on optimal estimates for the Navier-Stokes equations publised in a special volume in honnor of Ciprian Foias

My most recent article ([*"Optimal minimax bounds for time and ensemble averages for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations"*](http://yokohamapublishers.jp/online2/oppafa/vol7/p327.html)), co-authored with [Roger Temam](https://math.indiana.edu/about/faculty/temam-roger.html), was published in [Pure and Applied Functional Analysis](http://yokohamapublishers.jp/pafa.html), in a [special volume](http://www.yokohamapublishers.jp/online2/pafav7n1.html) in honnor of [Ciprian Foias](https://www.richardsonfuneralhome.org/obituary/Ciprian-Foias).

### ⟩⟩⟩ Stochastic and random ordinary differential equations

Just started teaching a course on theoretical and numerical aspects of stochastic and random ordinary differential equations. First time teaching it. It is gonna be a fun ride. Lecture notes in Portuguese availabe on [rmsrosa.github.io/notas_sde](https://rmsrosa.github.io/notas_sde/).

#### ⟩⟩⟩ **[ChainPlots.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/ChainPlots.jl)**

[ChainPlots.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/ChainPlots.jl) is my latest registered package. Its purpose is to display the topology of neural networks built with [FluxML/Flux.jl](https://github.com/FluxML/Flux.jl).
### ⟩⟩⟩ Teaching: Stochastic and random ordinary differential equations

#### ⟩⟩⟩ **[UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl) Package**
I am teaching, for the third time, a course on theoretical and numerical aspects of stochastic and random ordinary differential equations. Lecture notes in Portuguese availabe at [rmsrosa.github.io/notas_sde](https://rmsrosa.github.io/notas_sde/).

[UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl](https://github.com/rmsrosa/UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl) is my first registered [Julia](https://www.julialang.org) package! It is based on the package [Unitful.jl](https://github.com/PainterQubits/Unitful.jl). The aim of `UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl` is to *solve for the adimensional Pi groups in a list of Unitful parameters, according to the Buckingham-Pi Theorem*. More information in the blog post [Buckingham-Pi Theorem and the UnitfulBuckinghamPi.jl package](/blog/2021/05/unitfulbuckinghampi/).
### ⟩⟩⟩ Teaching: Differential equations

#### ⟩⟩⟩ **New blog post**
I am also teaching the usual second-year undergraduate course on ordinary differential equations, with my lecture notes available in Portuguese at [Equações Diferenciais versão ago/2022](/assets/material/apostila-ed-ago2022.pdf).

In this new post [Computing time average bounds for the Van der Pol oscillator in Julia](/blog/2021/02/time_ave_bounds_vanderpol_in_Julia/), I continue the problem discussed in the previous post, by exemplifying the theory with the Van der Pol oscillator. It is illustrative to visualize the behavior of the limit cycle along the surface of the auxiliary function that minimizes the estimate of the time average.

#### ⟩⟩⟩ **Blog**

I used to have a blog about homebrewing, and I finally decided to revamp the blog [here](/pages/blog_en/), including Math and coding. Here are the initial [Greetings](/blog/2021/02/greetings/) post and the first mathematical post entitled [Time average bounds via Sum of Squares](/blog/2021/02/time_ave_bounds_SoS/).
