Pretty cool idea! I expect there might be some runtests or mypy options that might cause problems with this, but the tests pass so I think we'll just have to merge it and see who reports a problem (exhaustive testing of flags isn't reasonable, so let a million eyeballs do it :-). |

One improvement I thought of after merging: runtests.py -q should probably silence pytest. |
