A self hosted solution for Snap Camera.
It will let you continue to use Snapcamera with almost all Snapchat filters after the shutdown on January 25, 2023.
This code is a fork of jaku/SnapCameraPreservation on steroids πͺ

- βοΈ Create and use your own Snap Lenses with Lens Studio.
- βοΈ Access most popular Snap Lenses from snapchat.com/lens.
- βοΈ Import Lenses from local application cache e.g.
AppData\Local\Snap\Snap Camera\cache\lenses
. - βοΈ All files will be stored inside a Docker Volume (e.g. on your local machine).
- βοΈ Runs local on Windows, Mac OS or hosted on a remote server.
You get the full decentralized control and you can use Snap Camera until Doomsday.

This server requires Docker and OpenSSL and maybe 5 to 10 minutes of your time β²οΈ
- π Docker (or Vagrant as experimental alternative)
- π OpenSSL (Download from slproweb.com as Windows user)
The client application is required to apply the filters to your webcam (Download Snap Camera)

If you want to upgrade an existing server version to a newer version, have a look at:
Create as many new Lenses as you want with Lens Studio and use them with your Snap Camera application.
Follow the Lens Creator Guide to get started.
You can import your local cached lenses through this online interface Snap Lens Cache Import.
But don't be fooled by the name Snap Lens Cache Import, you can also upload as many custom lenses as you want through the online form.
Activate the most popular Lenses from snapchat.com/lens.
You need to apply a special Snap Camera Signature Patch to your Snap Camera.exe
to get access to these web lenses.
