TIR Learner running for a long time

Hi Shujun,

I have had some success running EDTA on my 7Gb assembly, using the Divide and conquer approach the LTR and HELITRON steps have now finished. However the TIR step has now been running for over a week and has been stuck at the same step for the last few days. The task currently running is the EDTA/util/flanking_filter.pl script and it is writing to the file ...\ TIR/All_scaffs_capitalized_renamed.fasta.TIR.ext30.fa.cov0.9iden90.tabout

I just wanted to check if this is normal, and if there is anything I can do to speed this up?
