Thanks for this. I think this package likely stands on its own and is worth merging but I'll bring a couple of other packages to your attention - maybe you could have a quick look at them and let me know if joining forces with them is feasible? (I think for something as subjective as "good writing", though, there's lots of room for flexibility):

These are great suggestions, I'm glad you did a better job searching than I managed to do. Two of your suggestions even reference the same blog post that inspired me to create this package. I think my package does provide a bit of extra functionality, but I'll see if I can contribute to one of these existing packages to improve them a bit instead of creating a whole new package. Thanks!
