This training course briefly explains basics of JavaScript programing language, and coding procedures associated with the MapBiomas Project. The project comprises a collaborative network of specialists in remote sensing, GIS, land-use, biomes, and computer science who rely on the Google Earth Engine platform and its cloud computing capabilities to produce annual land use and land cover maps for Brazil. The whole project runs based on machine and deep-learning supervised classifiers.
