Welcome 👋 to my GitHub! My name is Adam Makarenko.

System Engineer with a passion for challenges and discoveries | Windows, Linux, Network, Azure, Office 365

bit about me - I've been in the IT Infrastructure space for over 20 years, and have worked my way up the ladder from > Workstation Support, System Administrator and Network Administrator. I have a passion for learning, and always find myself back in front of my laptop immersed in the latest tech and trying to make it work.

  • 🔭 Where I work ...

    I work as a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) consultant at SecherSecurity a Danish-owned network security company. I work mainly on cloud and network security technologies, but am integrating some Automation, Linux and OpenSource components into my day-to-day role.

  • 🌱 What I'm learning ...

    Fascinated with Infrastructure as code, automation and all things cloud. I'm interested in ramping up on my DevOps skills (Ansible, Terraform and CI/CD pipes) and also have an interest in learning more about AWS and GCP

  • ⚡ What I would love to do...

    • to collaborate on an open source project with like minded people

    • I love getting out into the forest on my mountain bike.
