This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.

Had to run the command below to enable me to create this application by installing the latest npm version.
npm install -g npm@latest
If you have any issues with the imports, please try one of the following two solutions:

Update your tsconfig.json's path field to look like this:
"paths": { "@/": ["./src/"], "public/": ["./public/"] }
Make sure to fully restart your server before testing again.
2.Add a / character in front of public anytime you need to import a static image:
import homeImg from './public/home.jpg';
