My name is Kyle Scudder 👋

me

I am a software developer from Hastings, UK. I enjoy software development and live music. My background is primarily in .NET and C#, but in the last few years have been working more and more in Typescript, utilising frameworks like NextJS.

I am currently working on a few projects:

  • The Date Pot - NextJS/PostgreSQL site for recording things like Artisan Coffee ratings, a list of records we want/have, films we have watched or want to watch etc.
  • Big Day Planner - NextJS/PostgreSQL site for recording RSVPs, menu choices, song choices, and displaying details for your big day!
  • Jai Scudder Plumbing - Astro Portfolio site for my dad, who runs a plumbing and property maintenance business. Used (along with https://github.com/kylescudder/kylescudder.co.uk) as an intro to Astro for static content sites.

I am planning on working on a few projects:

  • dotfiles - I am currently getting more into ricing my Arch (btw) install, and am seemingly spending more and more time in my dotfiles.
  • scripts - scripts used by my Arch (btw) install, as well as setup scripts for the various machines I use so I can get up and running with less time spent reinstalling everything.
