+RODA附带了一份风险登记簿，预估了80余种保存风险，这些风险来自[Digital Curation Centre (DCC)](http://www.dcc.ac.uk)和DigitalPreservationEurope (DPE)开发的[Digital Repository Audit Method Based on Risk Assessment (DRAMBORA)](http://www.repositoryaudit.eu)工具套件。

+## 如何评估和降低RODA中的保存风险？
+
+你想在资源库中开启风险评估流程。例如你想启动一个流程，将文件从不再可持续的格式中转换出来（比如出现了新的风险，某文件格式在未来将不再受支持）。

+基于以下假设情景，你的大致工作流程为：

+1. 你创建了1个SIP，包含1个Word 95.doc文件
+1. 你发现Word 95 .doc文件存在（假设）风险（比如我们机构中的任何软件都无法读取该格式文件）
+1. 风险发现后，我将每个Word 95 .doc文件同时转换为DOCX和PDF/A
+
+鉴于有多种方法管理新的风险，以及采取保护措施来降低风险，因此我们将重点关注如何解决特定问题：
+
+设想我作为保存专家，知晓Word 95格式存在风险。我会去风险登记簿登记此风险，详细描述我了解的全部情况，并布署缓和风险的措施（比如迁移至新的格式）。
+
+（另一种方式是通过插件进行自动化分析，但目前尚无此类插件。需要开发）

+你可以使用搜索功能查找资源库中的全部Word 95文件。摄取过程能够将所有文件格式识别出来，所以此任务非常简单。然后我会使用相应的风险关联插件，将这些文件设置为最近创建的风险实例。这既作为保存专家做出的保存决策，同时也是下一步工作的依据——即保存规划。

+接下来是迁移文件。你可以采取与之前基本相同的方法，在搜索菜单中选择全部Word 95文件，运行保存操作，将其迁移至PDF格式。
+
+系统中已经没有Word 95文件，从而降低了风险等级。事件可标记为“已缓和”。
+
+由于尚无格式过时风险检测插件，因此我说明了手动工作流程。但是完全可以开发出这个插件，从而能够在风险管理界面直接启动风险缓和步骤。
+
+RODA的转换插件目前支持常见格式（主要的图像、视频、文字和音频格式）。每个机构总会存在一些特殊格式，这种情况就需要开发专用插件。
