@jstout211 how I would approach is the following:

  1. Create a base model that creates your waveform of interest (e.g., gamma, evoked response etc)
  2. Once you have the base model, develop a hypothesis based on your intervention. What parameters of the model would you modify to obtain the change in signal morphology?
  3. Sweep the parameter from the base model, say from 0.2 times the base parameter to 2 times the base parameter to understand how it affects the signal morphology
  4. Tweak base model based on insight thus obtained and go back to step 2. Rinse and repeat.
