This is the final course project of UCLA CS 170A, Mathematical Modeling Methods in Computer Science. The project analyzes the impact of ilikeberniebut.com on the 2016 Iowa Democratic caucus.

Running the project

  • The data acquisition scripts and linear regression model scripts are Ruby scripts run and tested with Ruby version 1.9.3
  • The data analysis and plotting scripts are MATLAB scripts run and tested with GNU Octave version 3.8.1
  • The project PDF is a LaTeX document that uses fairly standard packages
