What is hydra?

Hydra is a multi-system, multi-platform emulator frontend for hydra cores.

What is a hydra core?

A hydra core is a shared library that can be loaded into the hydra frontends and emulates a system.

Why I, as a user, should use hydra?

Hydra aims to be an easy to use way of running all of your favorite games from one place, while also offering customization features to the user.

Why I, as an emulator developer, should develop a hydra core?

Hydra cores benefit in having ready-made frontends for multiple platforms. Creating frontends can be a tedious job and having one with support for various features can help emulator developers focus on more important stuff for their emulators.

How do I make a hydra core?

To get started with hydra core development, please read the Development section.
