I've finished support for useless_gaps. So far everything including adding, removing, and resizing clients works fine. The only thing that I can note is that
treetilestill does not use the padding settings of tags, where there will be another sizeable gap between clients and the screen edge, but this doesn't appear to be affected by the useless_gaps property.
