This happens to me too if i set the tx type to EMS+.
With the standard setting, all is working fine.

Setup is nearly identical with GB172i.2 and BC400, only the room device is an RC220 instead.

A lot:
-wrong board profil or customprofile with wrong ports

• collision of of RX/TX with other io,LED, analog config
• weak power supply
• weak contact on bus lines.

@mattreim if you still have the old firmware, see if the Rx issues are still present. Also check settings, wiring and anything else that may have changed.

Is it an ioBroker problem?

Partly. Mainly it's caused by emsesp-restart.
On start emsesp needs a while to collect all data from the bus. The ioBroker continues to poll the entities that are not yet avail in this case. The messages will stop after a minute.

In ioBroker adapter set paramter: clear states on start and restart adapter.

Just curious:
Did you switch back to EMS+ Mode?

For that situation in my case it got better than before, but success rate of tx-read goes down to 60%. With dev. 26, the tx-read in EMS+ mode was not working at all.

With TX-Mode "EMS" i get 100% all the time, without any noticeable difference in functionality.
