Search Preference

Is there a way to set the search preference. this seems to solve issues regarding ordering and shards.

There is currently no mechanism to specify this. For the sake of completeness of the ticket, can you elaborate on the problem and the desired outcome?

On every refresh, i was experiencing different facet counts, i googled around and some people mentioned that the count was off due to going to a different shard, so i thought that the solution would probably be to use the search preference, in order to make sure the correct counts return. i later found that it was more of an elastic search issue, where the amount of data i was consuming probably reached the threshold of RAM that i had allocated for ES, which then caused it to behave weirdly.
