Publishing changes

  • Use dynamic versioning
  • Rewrite publishing instructions (much simpler and easier process with poetry + dynamic versioning)

Development changes

  • Switch development version from 3.8 -> 3.12

Versioning

  • Dropping support for 3.8
  • Adding support for 3.12
    • Required dropping pprofile
  • Defined maximally permissive lower bound pins on all dependencies

CI

  • Unit tests have been extended to a test matrix that includes linux, macos, and windows over the upper and low bounds of supported python versions
