Dynamic Dropdown

Hi,

How do I display the dropdown? I am able to preview the list when trying to select a default value

But when I go to web viewer, I unable to see any list being dropped.

The dataset contains two columns: ID and Name. I want the user to select the Name, then the related ID is passed as the parameter instead.

What are the names of the columns because you have written that the statement has 2 columns ID & Name.
But you have added as value and display text the same column.

The two columns are mBOM_ID and Name.

But the dropdown doesn't show up even if I put different, what is the step I missed? Is there any guide I can find on how to do dynamic dropdown? I couldn't find it.

The definition looks very familiar to your definition. May be this will help you to figure out the problem.

Hello sir,

Just got back from overseas, pardon me for the late response.

I realised that the issue with my rptdesign is that the dataset needs to query from a service. This could be the reason why it always show blank as it's not queried yet.
