Thank you for opening this PR, @expertdicer. Unfortunately, I think these changes will not be needed anymore when we merge this other PR that is allowing all client types by default. I should have closed #5311 earlier, but didn't get to it on time. I think to prevent situations like this in the future would be good if comment first on the issue that you would like to work on, so that we can flag any potential impediments. Thank you!
