Noting that I used this patch when running into the issue and it fixed it. I'm not clear what the review process is for the CORAL community but I'd like to see this merged to master/core.

I looks like this pull request was originally against the master branch (or I'm exposing my lack of github GUI experience), so I will be pulling the one bug-fix commit into a local branch against origin/development and then I'll merge that upstream to development.
