Verification relates to current edits only. Where an entry is verified 5 times but then is replaced by a new edit/entry the old enrty and associated verifications will be stored under 'edit history' and verifications for the new edit only displayed (PH). However we should in fact have a system where if the current edit is overwritten with a new edit that matches an historical one, then the old verifications should also be restored with one extra verification also added for the original editor's entry.
