This pull request introduces updates to the Command family of models, including Command R, Command R+, and Command. The changes include:

  • Adding a new model, c4ai-aya-23-35b, which is the 35B version of the Aya 23 model. It pairs a highly performant pre-trained Command family of models with the Aya Collection and serves 23 languages.
  • Adding another new model, c4ai-aya-23-8b, which is the 8B version of the Aya 23 model. It also pairs a highly performant pre-trained Command family of models with the Aya Collection and serves 23 languages.
  • Updating the Command R and Command R+ models with time stamps, making them accessible in the API as command-r-08-2024 and command-r-plus-08-2024, respectively.
  • Adding a new column, Modality, to the model details table for Command, Command-light, and Command-nightly.
  • Updating the description of the Command model to include its ability to perform language tasks with high quality, more reliability, and a longer context than base generative models.
  • Adding a new model, command-light-nightly, which is a nightly version of the Command-light model. It is the latest, most experimental, and possibly unstable version of its default counterpart.
  • Updating the description of the Command-light model to include its faster performance compared to the Command model.
  • Adding a new model, command-nightly, which is a nightly version of the Command model. It is the latest, most experimental, and possibly unstable version of its default counterpart.
  • Updating the description of the Command-nightly model to include its purpose of reducing the time between major releases.
