📃 Iteration 45 roadmap

This post outlines our targets for the upcoming iteration. The goal is to provide a summary of where we are going.

New features / enhancements

• Content minimap - merged. Read more 🎉
• Support for HTML comments - merged 🎉
• Support for advanced lists (document lists) - this will span across a few iterations
• Find and replace feature follow-ups - merged 🎉
• Possibility to enforce tables to contain a header row by default - merged 🎉
• Autosave in revision history - merged 🎉

Bug fixes

• The code block added with autoformatting does not remember the language - merged 🎉
• Problems with pasting lists from Word (Paste from word / List - List not pasting #9055, Editor crashes after pasting double-commented text in a bulleted list from MS Word  #9954) - merged 🎉

Finally, there are some more bug fixes and minor improvements planned for the 45th iteration. See the list of issues assigned to the current iteration for more details.

Dates

The code freeze is planned for July 28, 2021, followed by releasing npm packages on August 4, 2021.

Please keep in mind that these plans are subject to change and even though we put all our energy to deliver all the items mentioned above, the iteration plan may change at any point.
