The version.h file is missing in this path: /Pods/libsodium/src/libsodium/include/sodium/

Therefore the symlink is not created in the Pods/Headers path.

There is a version.h.in file in this location, and I assume you can rename it to version.h and make it work. Unfortunately, no. It doesn't build.

I had also downloaded the latest tarball from libsodium and so I dropped version.h from there. Ran pod update and then build. And it worked.

I may have created my own symlink for version.h, but I don't know if that was necessary,

Thanks for the report, it looks like I should tweak the podspec for
libsodium.

Thanks Chris

I'd like to get up to speed on the project and try things out. I can't seem
to find any peers to chat with between my "devices".

  • macbook pro 13 (2012) retina with Bluetooth 4.0 support and OSX
    Mavericks
  • iPhone 5c on iOS 8.1

Is this part working?

I'm happy to contribute some documentation and later code.

thanks

Hugh

Only iOS is supported right now, but OS X support should be possible

Sorry, I should have been more clear. On the Mac OSX side, I am testing in
the iOS Simulator.

Should the app be able to see peers between the iPhone device and the
Simulator?

thanks
