Synchronisation failed, dropping peer #164

Same here. The node(v1.0.7) keep retry to synchronize from some bad peers and then got stuck. Restart will resolve the problem. This happens almost one time per day. |
please please add these bootstrap nodes in

Same here, at least once a day this happens, my node then starts to lag behind. A restart solves it. |
Same here, using 32GB of ram and 6c/12threads cpu and 2TB SSD, ~1gbs connection |
NVMe is pretty much required at this point. I just built a new machine and have had no trouble getting or staying synced, even after restarting geth (and thus being behind). IOPS above all. |
