This PR makes the changes for the library to run under Circuitpython 9.x with newer displayio APIs.
It also changes the library to use Ruff instead of pylint and Black.
I tested the screenshot simpletest, and bitmap simpletest on a PyPortal Titano
9.1.0-beta.3-37-gf66313c93bsuccessfully
