The current GPLv2 license only allows this code to be used in GPLv2-licensed codebases. It is not legally possible to use this library in a GPLv3 project. Upgrading the license of this library to GPLv3, or adding a note stating that this library can be used under GPLv2 or any later GPL license, would fix this.
