products not found in api/public

While connecting to magento store I get error that products does not exist in api/public.
I checked directory api/public. but there was nothing anything related to products or attributes/color etc.
Am i missing something?
Are these directories generated automatically?

Well I already have tried everything. If its working on your head can you please provide us step by step tutorial with pictures or may be a video?
