Crashes in TB 128.3.2esr (Linux) #20

Does this affect all folders without any existing settings or only some? Does anything appear in the error console (Ctrl-Shift-J) when this happens? |
Hello,
it affects all folders, both new and long-used ones with applied
settings. It occurs when I click RMB at the folder and select "Folder
Account".

Did this work before with the new version 12 of Folder Account (WebExtension, new UI), or is it like this since Thunderbird upgraded to 128? Which Linux do you use? Which Desktop Environment? Please open the Error Console (Ctrl-Shift-J), try to open Folder Account settings for a folder, and provide any logging that may appear in the console. |

I don't remember exactly because I only add new folders occasionally.
Which Linux do you use? Which Desktop Environment?
openSUSE Tumbleweed, KDE

This is the only thing related to add-ons, but it's just an unimportant
warning. Do you have other add-ons installed? Could you temporarily
disable them to see if it makes any difference?
|
Hi,
The only add-on that was still active was Nostalgy++, but deactivating
it makes no difference.

I did some tests in a virtual machine with openSUSE/KDE. While opening the Folder Account settings produces some unexpected logging while Nostalgy++ was enabled, it worked nonetheless. So I don't have a clue what's going wrong. The only thing I can suggest now is to remove the current v12.0 of Folder Account and install v11.3.2 from this website. This previous version generally still works with Thunderbird 128. |
If this works, don't forget to disable automatic updates for Folder Account. |
Setting up a folder's folder account settings opens a window and closes it immediately, just before showing any content. The functionality of folders that have already been set up does not seem to be affected.
