This is the minimum required change. You could also just use your own version the moodycamel queue even with HPX now. To avoid problems with other projects also using their own moodycamel queue I would actually recommend that you do what we did in HPX, i.e. copy the moodycamel into the apex repo and move it to your own namespace.
