I am using ubuntu 15.10 and I often leave the laptop in suspend mode for most of the day. I have found that on resume Qupzilla is unresponsive and has to be restarted in order to function. If no restart is completed any previously opened pages from the earlier session will simply buffer (show the activity animation symbol) and do nothing .. It has to be a restart to clear the hang up..

Hope you can replicate this issue and patch a fix.. as this is a great little browser//
Thanks

This is a duplicate of #1744, #1750, #1845, and possibly others. In the future, please check to see if someone else has already submitted an issue.

To answer your question, this is an upstream bug, reported here.

Sorry, I apparently didn't read your report. @nowrep, do you think it's another upstream problem?

Ah the uber helpful" Linux type response.. Please check several Thousand possible posts in case there was a previous answer.. BUT you couldn't just point me at it Could you.. No, you had to have a stick up your Ar*e and make a puerile point..

Let me assure you I spent some considerable time looking and trying search terms but I just couldn't get the terms right to get the solutions you mention, which I have yet to check, but rest assured i will take a look to see what the cure was just so i know BUT if you are atypical of the support attitude i'll give it (qupzilla) a miss i have enough snot without needing any of yours and Palemoon is doing well as a replacement..

thank you for your reply, I appreciate the effort if not the sentiment.

hi again,

having checked the flagged links i find there is no solution just reports of similar issues.. Obviously there is an issue that has NOT be resolved perhaps you should check the links you send people to see if they actually include a solution before you chastise them?

thank you

Well, there's nothing to do, the issue is probably in Qt libraries (I can't reproduce this issue myself).

Well thats a much better answer.. As much use as the first one but a lot less adversarial.. The problem is there and I guess it will come out in the wash.

Thanks

Chris

@dadachoski
If it is of any help, I had the same issues here on several systems with qupzilla/qt5-webkit.
Issue is complete gone with qupzilla master build on qtwebengine 5.6RC

@dadachoski By the way, my intention wasn't to be adversarial; it's just that there are a lot of duplicates of that issue, so the title made me less inclined to look closely at it. Also, did you read the apology? I edited my post before you responded, but you may not have seen it if you're just using the email interface.
