How is Path of Building expected to behave?

Switching classes should reset all primary ascendancy points if allocated

How does Path of Building behave?

Changing classes with ascendancy points allocated does not remove the previous ascendancy

How to reproduce the issue

Set Ascendancy to Ascendant.
Allocate any ascendancy passives.
Switch base class to any other class, and chose any respective primary ascendancy.
You are now able to allocate new passives, with the older ascendant passives still active.

Issue is not only on ascendant but any ascendancy. Im assuming this was added temporarily to support the wildwood ascendancies.
