How to delete local copy of repository?

When I delete it from my file manager, when trying to clone it from Gittyup, a window appears stating that the repository cannot be located. Then it creates an empty .git directory in a recreated (otherwise empty) version of the repository's directory.

Disconnect the local repository from the remote:

1. Select the remote listing of the repository, and invoke the minus button at the bottom of the sidebar.

2. Click "Remove":

Unnecessary if the path of the remote has been modified since being added.
