Yep, big Ints and BigNums are very natural additions. |
At this point it's just a matter of someone writing "bigint.j" that links to GMP or some other library that implements bigints. Shouldn't be terribly hard and would be an excellent introductory project. I'll label this issue as "up for grabs". |

Hello Julia hackers!
I'm enjoying your nice little language and I'm really pleased with the process of type promotion.
I'm wondering if there is any plans for an "Integer" type that could support numbers of any arbitrary size. For instance, Haskell uses its Integer type to represent any number and not just those under 2^64, while it also has Int for standard integer sizes.
