Description

This repository contains a benchmark tool designed to test the bandwidth of an InfiniBand network using MPI (Message Passing Interface). The program measures the data transfer rate between two nodes within an MPI environment equipped with InfiniBand connectivity.

Prerequisites

• InfiniBand hardware
• Open MPI installed

Compilation

To compile the program, use the following command:

mpicc -o mpi-infiniband-benchmark mpi-infiniband-benchmark.c

###Execution To run the benchmark, use the following command:

mpirun -np 2 --host [node1],[node2] ./mpi-infiniband-benchmark [time(s)]

ex.

mpirun -np 2 --host hpc1,hpc2 ./mpi-infiniband-benchmark 60
