Direct Modes

OpenSuperClone has the ability to circumvent the OS by directly communicating via AHCI, IDE, or USB. Direct modes should always be the preferred method of connection when possible.

Direct AHCI

Allows OpenSuperClone to directly interface with SATA drives. Drives must be hidden from the operating system for this to work and ATA controller must be set to AHCI mode.

Direct IDE

Allows OpenSuperClone to directly interface with PATA drives. Drives must be hidden from the operating system for this to work and ATA controller must be set to IDE mode.
