Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Solder wires to the ToF sensor and switch

   

2. Thread the button wires through the top plate

   

3. Connect the slide switch to the battery (if necessary, cut off the connector plug, making sure to cut each wire separately to avoid a short circuit)

   

4. Remove the connector socket from the LOLIN32 (this step can be skipped, but removing it makes soldering the battery easier): Cut the wires at the back with pliers and then bend the connector forward to remove it

   

5. Connect the components to the LOLIN32 (unfortunately, the Lolin32 only has one GND connection, the negative pole of the battery connection can also be used as GND)

   

6. Attach the VL53L0X to the side plate with two screws and attach the slide switch to the other side (then melt the switch in place with a soldering iron)

   

7. Finally, screw the LOLIN32 to the bottom part (the wide socket on the bottom is on the connector side of the board) and assemble all the components together - done
