Sprint 10
This was our last sprint and I didn't do much programming in this one. I spent the majority of the sprint working on the video editing which took me a lot longer than I expected. But that was not of waste of time and we were really happy of the final result, On the programming side of this sprint I fix some bug with some button in the app and add some test to improve the code coverage of our app. Overall that was a good final sprint and I will definitely miss working with you guys ❤️🔥
This was a great sprint to end this course. On the work side, nothing that interesting, I continued refactoring our codebase according to the comments and tried tackling the infamous global context which, unsurprisingly, took a lot of time and basically affected every file in the project. It was really fun preparing the video and the presentation!
I am very happy of what we have achieved and will really miss our team!
Best sprint so far. I finished implementing the cache and the forum mocking which were very difficult tasks but I finally made it work very elegantly. A lot of comments and interactivity on the PR made it even nicer. It was very rewarding finally being able to see all the bits coming together and I think it is safe to say that we can be happy of the result.
The team was great and I will definitely miss it!
This last sprint was as nice as always. I worked on re-instating the tests that we put aside because of Cirrus and making sure the app works on multiple & different (real) android devices. It was nice to work on the finitions of the app, the video and present our work to everyone. It's a nice reward to have finished our app, although the results of the BoA is a bit sad :(.
I'm going to miss working with this team 💯
This last sprint was quite nice. I fixed several remaining bugs in the app as well as linked the remaining buttons in the settings activity with relevant activities, including a new one that I created to enable users to send a report for a bug or a suggestion. Moreover, I added more overall tests to increase the coverage. Also, we filmed the video together which was really fun!
I am so proud of our app and so happy to have met amazing teammates and friends. I will definitely be missing all of this ❤️
I worked on two different tasks these two weeks. The first was rather easy, I resolved most code climate issues. I also deleted all the unused strings, colors, dimensions, and images, and also duplicated ones. For my second task, I added the possibility for users to sign up to our app anonymously on firebase, in which case we developers or any person who gets a hold of our database can't map a user id to the email account used to sign in and thus have access to their medical data. I also allowed users to now choose their own username which is displayed on the forum when they either ask or answer questions.
Overall, this was a very good sprint. Unfortunately, this is our last, and I am definitely going to miss everybody :'(
This was for sure our most chill and funniest sprint since we were a bit creative in making our video and presentation. The tasks were mainly about refactoring, fixing the remaining bugs, and increasing the coverage. We can say that we clearly succeeded in fulfilling all of the requirements and having a fully functional and beautiful app.
Overall, we are very happy and sad at the same time. Happy because we were able to produce an amazing and very useful app without any previous skills in android and sad because it's the end of a beautiful experience. SDP not only made us android experts but also created lifetime friendships with amazing people!
