Helps managing and updating GE-Proton versions

Installation

Usage

• --steam-install-path",
  • Specify a custom install path. Defaults to "~/.steam/steam"
• --debug
  • Sets loglevel to debug
• --error
  • Sets loglevel to error only
• --very-quiet
  • Silences all output
• --list
  • List currently used versions and by which game
• --list-json
  • Prints GE-Proton versions used by games in JSON format
• --update-games
  • Updates installed games to the latest (or provided version) GE version (requires --latest or --version)
• --update-default
  • Updates the default proton version to latest (or provided version) GE version (requires --latest or --version)
• --update-exclude
  • Exclude games from updates by game ID.
• --update-exclude-regex
  • Exclude games from updates matching the provided regex expression
• --dry-run
  • Does not write to Steam's config file
• --script
  • Executes the provided script after successful update, sending installed version as parameter.
• --test-script
  • Tests the script execution
• --restart-steam
  • Restarts Steam after successful update
• --delete-unused
  • Deletes unused GE-Proton versions
• --confirm-delete
  • Skips deletion prompt confirmation
• --latest
  • Download and install the latest version
• --version"
  • Download and install a specific version
    • Supported version strings are: GE-ProtonX-XX, ge-protonX-XX, X-XX or X.XX
• --keep
  • Keeps X most recent unused versions.
