Don't overwrite error message ranges in typeof_tot_or_gtot_term, except if the reported range is a dummy
In refl_tc_callbacks: don't call deep compress without first checking that no uvars/univ_vars remain (and reporting a localized error if that check fails) while avoiding a hard failure in deep_compress
