Noticed there is an ask for help section mentioned. DGBSupport.digiassetX.com was set up as a self help system to reduce load on volunteers. It's open source and submitting welcomed https://github.com/digiassetX/DGBSupport May want to include this link before suggesting people ask for help |
@mctrivia , would you be so kind as to open a pull request to add a reference to DGBSupport where you feel it is appropriate? Thanks in advance. |
This was merged prematurely and we are now directing people for support with running it to Gitter, which has been stated the developers do not want. That should have been amended before being merged, unless the developers are now doing general technical support with running the Core Wallet? |
Josiah. They have stated that this is mainly dev support. We can always pull a modification it is documentation not code. |
Exactly, but under "Running", the support for running a node, is where it was being referenced, and I already suggested the change before the merge. But hey, if they're cool with doing support for users running nodes, sure, let's just leave it as it is 👍 |
Create another PR for the support issue so it can be reviewed and discussed. There are still a few references to the old digibyte repo that could do with a separate pull request too. |
Howdy Devs! Don't mind me, just reading through convos and getting a feel for workflow. Appreciate all the hours/days/weeks/years you have dedicated. |
This pull request contains changes to several Markdown documents to replace reference to deprecated IRC channels with the new GitHub integrated Gitter channels.
Our documentation needs a solid updating as it references long deprecated IRC channels, message boards, and mailing lists for which users can no longer access.
