Steps

  • Create a clip or image using the Sharing feature
  • Attempt to AirDrop
  • The process fails

I think this may be because we share both a link and image and AirDrop sharing gets confused. Sharing only the media's URL without an HTTP link, AirDrop seems to work but we don't have a great way of doing that just for AirDrop with the current API.
